1. Soil Health Card Scheme (SHC)
SHC is a printed report that a farmer gets for each of his holdings. It will define the status of soil with respect to 12 parameters namely
• Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium (Macronutrients) ;
• Sulphur (Secondary nutrient) ; Zinc, Iron, Copper, Manganese, Boron (Micro– nutrients) ; and
• pH Acidity/ Alkalinity/ Neutrality), Electrical Conductivity, Organic
Carbon (Physical parameters).
Based on this, the SHC will also indicate fertiliser recommendations and soil amendment required for the farm in the long run.
A farmer will get the soil card once every two years.
2. Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY)
Formulated to promote Organic Farming.
✅Objective: To promote eco - friendly concept of cultivation reducing the dependency on agro - chemicals and fertilizers.Implemented in a cluster based approach.
✅Government is promoting organic farming by programs under:
✅Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana is an elaborated component of Soil Health Management (SHM) of major project National Mission of Sustainable Agriculture (NMSA).
✅Under PKVY Organic farming is promoted through adoption of organic village by cluster approach and PGS certification.
✅The Scheme envisages Promotion of commercial organic production through certified organic farming.
✅The produce will be pesticide residue free and will contribute to improve the health of the consumer.
✅It will raise farmer's income and create a potential market for traders.
✅It will motivate the farmers for natural resource mobilization for input production.

✅Adoption of Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) certification through cluster approach:
✅Mobilization of farmers / local people to form clusters in 50 acre for PGS certification.
✅PGS Certification and Quality control.

5. National Agriculture Market (E-NAM)
National Agriculture Market scheme (e-NAM) was launched on 14/04/2016. The Scheme envisages initiation of e-marketing platform at national level and will support the creation of infrastructure to enable e-marketing.
e-NAM is the e-trading platform for the National Agriculture Market.
Objective:
• Transparent sale transactions and price discovery initially in
regulated markets.
• Liberal licensing of traders / buyers and commission agents
• One license for a trader valid across all markets in the State.
• Single point levy of market fees
• Provision of Soil Testing Laboratories in/ or near the selected
mandi
Target:
To create a unified national market for agricultural commodities.
6. Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY)
Pradhan Mantri Fasal Beema Yojana (PMFBY) is being implemented from 2016 Kharif season and is available to the farmers at low rates of premium. This scheme would provide insurance cover for all stages of the crop cycle including post-harvest risks in specified instances.The Government provides interest subvention of 3% on short-term crop loans up to Rs.3.00 lakh. Presently, loan is available to farmers at an interest rate of 7% per annum, which gets reduced to 4% on prompt repayment.
Objective:
• Supporting sustainable production in agriculture sector by
providing financial support to farmers suffering crop
loss/damage arising out of unforeseen events
• Stabilizing the income of farmers to ensure their continuance
in farming
• Encouraging farmers to adopt innovative and modern
agricultural practices
• Ensuring flow of credit to the agriculture sector, which will
contribute to food security, crop diversification and
enhancing growth and competitiveness of agriculture sector
besides protecting farmers from production risks.
Target:
To reduce the premium burden on farmers and ensure early
settlement of crop Insurance claim for the full insured sum.
Provide insurance cover to Rabi and Kharif crops and financial support
to farmers in case of damage of crops.
To make crop insurance simpler and cheaper for the farmers.
7. Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY)-Micro Irrigation
Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY) is being implemented to expand
cultivated area with assured irrigation, reduce wastage of water and to improve the water use efficiency.
It is a national mission to improve farm productivity and ensure better utilization of the resources in the country.

Launched:
October 2006
It is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme to supplement farm income with
the development of complete value chain of bamboo sector and link
growers with markets
Its Objectives are
➢ To increase the area under bamboo plantation in non-forest
Government and private lands.
➢ To improve post-harvest management through establishment
of innovative primary processing units and market
infrastructure.
➢ To promote product development by assisting R&D,
entrepreneurship & business models at MSME level.
➢ To rejuvenate the underdeveloped bamboo industry in India.
➢ To promote skill development, capacity building, awareness
generation for development of bamboo sector.
➢ To realign efforts to reduce dependency on import of bamboo
and bamboo products by improved productivity.
The Mission would adopt the following strategies

commercial and economical advantage
➢ Production of genetically superior planting material
➢ Adoption of end to end solution.
